Implementation & Onboarding Consultant

The goals of the Implementation & Onboarding Consultant are to provide product recommendations and configurations, technical expertise for implementations, standard integrations, ensuring proactive communication to clients and internal staff, and managing enhancement requirements and escalations and capability to understand simple to complex business requirements and design a technical solution to meet those needs while considering budget and project scope. This person drives projects to completion by anticipating the needs of the clients and ensuring the alignment of the internal and external teams focused on the implementation.

 

The Implementation & Onboarding Consultant will play a critical role in the success of the Client Engagement team. This position is an individual contributor role within our Professional Services Organization and reports to the Director of Client Engagement.

Responsibilities

      • Provide technical, business consulting and product expertise to customers enabling Marketo and other Marketo LaunchPoint services
      • Identify use cases, roles and other business requirements for CRM and other system integrations
      • Ensure sales, account management, and support have appropriate tools to sell and support the Professional Services offerings and budget
      • Produce and manage client-facing documentation
      • Conduct implementation pilots and help customer envision final solution
      • Ensure timely and accurate billing in coordination with Finance Department
      • Identify areas for process improvement within the Professional Services organization and make recommendations to Management

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

      • Market Certified (MCE)
      • 2+ yrs of experience of account management or project management experience
      • Ideal candidates will have a strong background in software implementation and/or integration project management
      • Proficient in MS Office and CRM/project management software
      • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
      • Customer-oriented approach
      • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
      • Sharp business acumen
      • Problem-solving aptitude
      • BSc/BA in Business or similar field
      • Ability to clearly describe and escalate technical issues
      • Willingness to learn Marketo & gain expert credential
