Client Engagement Manager

The goal of a Client Engagement Manager is to build relationships with clients during projects by ensuring project profitability, on-time deliverables, customer satisfaction and upselling. CEMs assess client needs, identify customer requirements and budget needs, and work with other Leadous team members, Marketo experts and partners to develop a cohesive strategy that improves the marketing automation efforts.

This job involves reviewing client digital marketing challenges, analyzing materials and data to assess situations, developing cohesive plans, establishing/assigning tasks to team members using Active Collab, and communicating project progress and performance. This role requires full-time commitment and availability. Engagement managers are strong communicators who are comfortable working with different teams at various levels of a business and have excellent organizational skills.

The perfect candidate is a self starter who takes initiative to help evolve the role. This role is full-time and requires availability between the hours of 9AM – 5PM with a daily commitment of 8+ hours. Client Engagement Managers report to the Director of Client Engagement and will split their time between client and internal projects, 50% client and 50% business development.

Additional Responsibilities Include

      • Foster positive relationships with our clients as their primary point of contact
      • Follow Active Collab Guidelines 
      • Managing projects to stay on budget 
      • Communicating with internal teams to set expectations communicated from the client
      • Help clients implement services and plan projects effectively
      • Ensure that contract terms and conditions are met
      • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
      • Address client issues with speed and efficiency
      • Support sales teams to generate new business through the development of case studies and reputable customers
      • Prepare reports on project performance
      • Handle non-amicable discussions with professionalism and ease

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

    • Project management experience required
    • Agency experience preferred
    • SaaS Software industry experience 
    • Background in sales and customer service is a plus
    • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms
    • Knowledge of Demand Gen best practices and strategies
    • Proficient in Google Suite, Active Collab or other related project management software
    • Marketo Certified Associate (MCA), or similar certification preferred
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Customer-oriented approach
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
    • Sharp business acumen
    • Problem-solving aptitude
    • BA/BS in a related field similar field preferred but not required
