Kline wasted no time in leaving his mark. Leadous employees coined themselves ‘slices’ versus employees after the distinctive tangerine orange color of the logo. Ellis shared that Kline made a comment when he first started that he was happy to be part of the Orange Grove. She laughed at the time at the reference to more things to do with the fruit, but that is his nature, to look at things from the perspective of the whole not the himself as an individual slice if you will. This is a contagious viewpoint and makes anyone who gets the chance to work with him understand why he has ‘the juice’.
This award reflects Leadous’ commitment to recognizing and celebrating outstanding team members. The references to oranges that inspired this initiative is a symbol woven into many company programs, from the Slices Newsletter to gifting orange slice candy in a jar.
